Exception has been taken to a Protein World ad, with Juliette Burton stating;

"When signing the petition, I wrote: "I spent my life feeling I wasn't good enough" and allowed it to be tweeted. The company saw it and responded: "Why make your insecurities our problem?"

Whilst Protein World will not be winning any diplomacy awards any time soon, fundamentally they are correct, aren't they?

Can see both sides. One should not encourage such a condition. Morally we help not do down others for our own benefit. If they are causing the insecurities by their actions, that otherwise would not surface ? But it looks a little over the top to me. They should be able to advertise their products/services. But as you imply the company's response was hardly professional. Shot themselves in the foot it seems.

Entering into a public conversation on Twitter seems to leave one open to differing views.
Juliette might want to either confine her thoughts and comments to her stage show or just get over the fact she's been challenged.
someone defaces his posters anad he wants them taken to Guantanamo Bay? Wow, proportionate response! Why not just send them to Jakarta and have them put before a firing squad?
