Negative Parents.

What is it with parents that complain about their children all the time .
There is one or two of them on my fb and it drives me mad.
Our children's school broke up for summer holidays at 3.30pm today and by 5.30 one mum was commenting. 'Here we go,6 weeks of hell!!!.' 'The boys are already playing up'
Her two boys are aged 9 and 7 and are pretty good boys and I've always enjoyed having them around as the 9yr old has been a friend to my son for years ,so I know him and his younger brother quite well .
so I'm not sure how they must behave with their mum for her to be saying this after just 2 hours. :( It's not the first time she has posted somethig along these lines.
I would hate to feel like this about my son.

My friend has just posted on FB. School holidays....the fighting has begun.
I don't think it's parents being negative towards their children individually....just their behaviour when they are forced to spend too much time together.

Yeah you hand them back to the parents when you have experienced them being good. They may see a different side. Anyway, everyone moans about their loved ones don't they ? Living together is never easy. One reason I still have my own place. Thing is not to take it too seriously. Probably just looking for sympathetic responses. Or maybe a humorous dig, in return.

I've never spent anything like that keeping my child entertained. He used to go to tennis camp for a couple of weeks (daily, not sent off for the whole two weeks) and to a church thing - even though we're not religious. Otherwise he read books or had friends round. I suppose it's easier with just one, though.
