I am NOT a doctor, but I was a medic for years. Chances are, it's probably something harmless but painful like gas. BUT, it could be serious like appendicitis or ovarian torsion, and the only way to know is to get to a doctor.
I don't know how things work in the UK, but here you can call and talk to your GP on the phone to determine if you need to go in for an office visit. He/she may be able to narrow down your problem with a series of questions.
