egg allergy
4 Answers
I am 39 years old, and for all of my life i have been allergic to eggs. If i eat anything with eggs in i am violently sick.
Why is this?
I can eat cheese, drink milk, eat yoghurt, etc, etc., but never anything to do with eggs. I can't even touch one as I get a rash and the smell of cooking eggs is vile.

These antibodies are programmed to fight off the invader, in this case eggs, and this fight is what causes an allergic reaction. Most people are allergic to protein in the whites of eggs, but some react to the yolk. (Source: Kid's Health)
