Some of us have no choice but to shop at tesco and Asda as even if we could afford it (which we can't anyway) there isn't a Waitrose nearby. Still, least us peasants can shop without snobby people looking down their noses as us eh?
It depends where the Tesco is. Some are OK (North Devon where I come from) and some are Chav Central (Sunbury) Mind you, Asda seem to be Chav Central wherever they are.
There's a Waitrose on the Western Road, leading to Hove. We argue about which side of the boundary it falls. I use it coz I can chain my bike outside the front door.
The Samoans were a jolly nice bunch. Not like the piekeey chavs in the big Tesco in Hove.

Our various Tescos are big and bright and full of pleasant people, from which I deduce it's not the shops that are chavvy, it's the people that live in those towns.
I like the Tesco garlic stuffed olives but only use the Tesco Express just for them and their small bags of microwavable new potatoes.
Nearest supermarket (within walking distance) is Co-op. Going downhill fast.
