I went in the big Tesco in Hove this afternoon.

Cripes, it was SO ***.

I thought Hove was our posh neighbour. But nooooo ...

Horrid. Ghastly.

Shan't be going there again in a hurry. I was quite surprised to find my bike was still there when I came out.

Just thought I'd get that off my chest.

Some of us have no choice but to shop at tesco and Asda as even if we could afford it (which we can't anyway) there isn't a Waitrose nearby. Still, least us peasants can shop without snobby people looking down their noses as us eh?

Yikes, it was so bad that I can't even type the adjective to describe how bad it was!
Don't do Tesco, jj
Tesco is fast becoming the Chavs Harrods
I expect the Samoans weren't there either
Waves to Sloopy x
It depends where the Tesco is. Some are OK (North Devon where I come from) and some are Chav Central (Sunbury) Mind you, Asda seem to be Chav Central wherever they are.
does Samoan stylee haka, waves back
Waves to sloppy.....
incorporates penumbral whirl in haka

I thought they only had Waitrose in Hove Actually

There's a Waitrose on the Western Road, leading to Hove. We argue about which side of the boundary it falls. I use it coz I can chain my bike outside the front door.

The Samoans were a jolly nice bunch. Not like the piekeey chavs in the big Tesco in Hove.
Joggerjayne, I can thoroughly recommend Aldi!

I'll give it a try, Shaz.

B00, it's the staff in our local Tesco that I have problems with, unhelpful and unpleasant
Our various Tescos are big and bright and full of pleasant people, from which I deduce it's not the shops that are chavvy, it's the people that live in those towns.
they ain't mutually exclusive ya know B00
Agree with Sharon, you get a far better class of customer at Aldi !
If you're looking for class, look no further than Lidls.
I like the Tesco garlic stuffed olives but only use the Tesco Express just for them and their small bags of microwavable new potatoes.
Nearest supermarket (within walking distance) is Co-op. Going downhill fast.
Having made deliveries to Aldi, I could NEVER shop there.
