Saturday. Yesterday was warm and sunny. Not a cloud in sight this morning. So I hope it's going to be the same again today. Quite warm through the night too, so tiggy is still out and about, he's had his supper though.
England v Wales today. It's going to be a good'un methinks.
Have a happy day everyone.

Enjoy it while it lasts ;-)
In saying that, a chilly start here and a cool breeze most of the day.
A day in front of the idiot box watching footy?
Off to the awards night tonight for us, should be a good night, except for the fact I'll be the designated driver,,,,sob, sob.

Afternoon oz. I will be watching the match right enough so I will.
It's a vital match for both countries. The weather should not be a factor though. I have the real ale in. :o}
You drew the short straw for this evening then mate. Never mind, you can make up for it tomorrow.
Did you have a look at this wee place?

Some has to do it Boaty, it's young master Ozzies big night so would be unfair of me to tell him he's driving. Truth be known he'd tell to to get stuffed ;-).
I've had an armchair wander around Cam before but with the info you have sent me I'll be looking again when I'm allowed on the real 'putor. This old lappy doesn't handle google earth or videos, etc. very well.
I'll pop you back similar info on our digs so you can see how far away from everything we are ;-)

That's an excellent plan oz. It makes a lot of sense to me. With us, I would usually drive there and Vera would drive home, as she never drank much when we were out. But we would put some away when we stayed in. She could keep up with me on white wine and TD! She liked a real ale occasionally too. We've been known to put away two, sometimes three bottles of dry white wine then hammer the TD. Always a good evening.
He should bring something home then mate. If he does, please say 'Well done' for me mate.
I remember one birthday, she always bought me a bottle of TD.
This particular birthday, (1997) Gloucestershire were playing cricket against, I think, Cheshire, It was a warm day. Vera work her hours so that she could have the afternoon off. We sat with our feet up on the coffee table and saw off that bottle of TD while we watched Jack Russell in his tatty old gear bossing the team about while keeping wicket. He was the best in the world then. A great afternoon it was. We went out to dinner that evening, but to a pub within walking distance. That was the best birthday ever. ;o}

Morning all from Surrey - what a horrendous trip up here, nearly 7.5 hours.....Bodmin took over an hour to clear - where they are turning the first of our two lane carriageways into double as you climb onto the moor and then there was a massive smash up on the eastern end of the Somerset levels....when 4 police cars, two ambulances, a fire engine and an incident unit come past, it was time to get off the A303 and wind through the lanes to Sherborne and then up the A30 to then come back on the far side of Wincanton, the A303 quiet then until the M3 - and that is one massive construction site from Basingstoke to the M25... To add insult to injury, someone chipped up a stone on Bodmin and there's a lovely 10 inch crack already - may well go into Guildford if it is worse this morning.....it's a rental.
