My only problem is numb hands from pressure on crutches, but hopefully that will go. I consider myself very lucky to had got in so quickly, can't fault the NHS. Is Vak OK haven't seen her about for a while xx
Glad to hear that you are doing well, i am sure that you will be walking with 2 sticks shortly, my OH is waiting to get her other hip done soon has had the pre op assessment done so just have to wait now, Vak is fine she is looking after mother just now as she had a mini stroke and has a broken ankle, so will be living with vak after she gets out of hospital, i will tell her you were asking about her in my next e-mail, hope it is not too long before you are fully fit. x
Billy - let's hope that she doesn't have too much longer to wait. It's a miracle op really after being in agony for such a long time I now have no pain from my hip when walking just a bit of discomfort at the op site which is natural I guess. Please send my regards to Vak and hope her Mum makes a good recovery.
Danny - I reckon another 4 weeks should do it, so keep practising I'll be there. Get the biscuits baking!

Margo my OH had the left hip 2 years ago and it made a big difference as you say no pain, now the right one is needing done, she has not so much pain as lat time but is struggling to walk due to the stiffness, they say you should exercise when you are young, and she took up athletics and this is the result of that, she still does coaching and is a grade 1 official, i will tell vak that i was chatting to you today. Take care.
