If some one had a bad fall and staggered home and family called ambulance and when paramedics arrived and said nothing wrong with him and they can clearly see the man is crying with pain.
when taken to hospital he needed five stiches and had a broken arm which is now in a cast.
Did the paramedics get it wrong?
can they get it wrong?
are they allowed to get it wrong?

Not sure who your previous reply was aimed at , but I think you'll find a lot of us have sadly had to use the Ambulance Service for medical emergencies. Whist mostly a smooth running system of course it can have its failings. As stated above , make an official complaint with all the facts you have. Let us know how it proceeds.

how long does it take to heal
//how long does it take to heal //

Well - it all depends on the nature of the fracture , doesn't it ?
from the mental trauma of not getting the service you think you ought to from paramedics? Aggggges i expect. What i am struggling with is if the person had a friend who could take them to hospital, WHY on earth did they call an ambulance?

well to be honest, it would appear like the brits dot get any "service" i fyou are from EU or a war torn place like brixton or somthing you get all the best of NHS DHS etc
Like no doubt many people I have had a fracture missed (by X Ray, not paramedics) - I don't damn the whole NHS because of it.

Sometimes things go wrong.

Re the cut , one departments 5 stitches can be another departments glue or strips.

Hope your friend mends soon.
If you feel you have had bad treatment then complain.
OP is you - I think it means Original Post, but no doubt someone will correct me!
Question Author
WOOFGANG who do you complain to?
will any one listen?
do they ?
I dont think any one cares? and yes I dont wish pain on any one and hope no needs to go thru bad experences with paramedics.
BTW NHS is not free we pay for it one way or another,

Did the paramedics get it wrong? . . . You know they did, in retrospect.
can they get it wrong? . . . . . . . . . . .Refer to answer 1, above.
are they allowed to get it wrong? . . . Anyone can make a mistake.

See, all questions answered, no need to go to Mars after all.
