Trading Standards
Afternoon everyone
I make hand crafted soaps and bath bombs. I have got all my certificates regarding the ingredients etc but I need a bit advice about trading standards. I am currently making a range of Game of Thrones themed soaps. I wanted to call them Game of Foams but don't know if I can legally call them these and not be done for copy right. If I just have them listed as novelty soaps with no title would I be covered.
Many thanks

That's how I see it anyway but the law around 'passing off' can get very complicated!

No expert but I think if you are a small concern you might not draw attention, at least until the relevant inspiration has lost it's pulling power. As they are hand crafted I guess you must be a small concern. Worst comes to worst presumably you get a desist note and have to come up with another label ?
