Silly Question About Radiator Bleed Valves...

I'm fitting a new radiator which has the plastic bleed valve (with the tiny little pipe sticking out). For functionality and aesthetics, which way up should the little pipe go? Up for air to come out or down so the drips can fall?
Or should I really not be so worried about such trivial matters...

If it points down, it will be easier to catch the drips.

I would point it downwards to collect the water when you bleed it. The air will come out whichever way it points.

Usually between front/ middle and front/down, as you say, it's a bleed valve you need to be able to contain the water that comes out when you bleed the Rad.

Doesn't matter. It swivels to any position for different rad mounting locations.
