worry dolls

does anyone know of an appropriate way to get rid of/destroy these? I have a bag of them given to me by a bad person whom I no longer have any contact with. Having them around makes me uneasy but so does the idea of binning them/burning them! I'm not generally superstitious BUT...

Either give them to a charity shop, put them in a car boot sale or sell them on ebay. Quickest way would be to give them to a charity shop.

I thought worry dolls were supposed to be nice things! You tell each one a worry, put them under your pillow and in the night they take your worries away!

These little toys genuinely seem to make you very uneasy because of their association with someone unpleasant..But stop and think about them logically....these tiny little figures have been made by ordinary people, probably in a factory in South America, who have dressed them in bits of fabric. That is all they are so you need have no worry about them having any evil powers or making things happen to you. So bin them, burn them or give them away.

The most important thing to remember is that a doll, whatever it's been called cannot harm you - it's just not possible!

Poor you gemmabe, it's horrible when you get a worry like this in your head, I wish I could get you to send them to me, I would burn them. I used to get people at school to do this with chain - letters if they were worried, I destroyed them all :)
