Imagine We Find Sentient Life On Planet Zog . . .

Imagine these intelligent life-forms understand some of our languages so we can communicate. Imagine they have never heard of or invented any kind of religion or gods or invisible supernatural powers. Do Earth's religionists send missionaries to turn them into believers ? If so, how ? How do you persuade beings who have no need of mysteries to start believing in mysteries ?
I suppose it is also possible that they might reverse the process, and send their own missionaries to convince us that all our religions are godswallop. That might be interesting.
Any ideas ?

Sane way we evanglelize to pagan non believers on Earth. Why would beings from a foreign planet be any different from those in a foreign country. God created ALL things, including everything in the Universe and beyound. If intelligent beings are ever found i think its the non-religious community that would be most surprised to find some form of mono-theism in existance worshipping the same being we have labeled God/Allah her, under their own name of course.
