what did you receive from loved ones this year and what was your favourite?

as a family we said no pressies for adults this year but some of mine got together and got me two pressies. don't think anyone will guess what they are.

My sister gave me a stick of Blackpool rock...I find it difficult to believe that years ago I used to be able to chew on these things! She also gave me a jar of Robertson's marmalade; however, the golliwog was missing.

Jm Khalili's breathtakingly interesting hx of arab science
AND
there are the usual repeats on teevee ( yes I have a licence to watch )

so I can do ALL THREE at the same time.... paradise - and keeps me off the streets

Not even a card, but then we don't do Christmas as such, we get each other gifts as and when we see something suitable.

(Obviously rec'd cards from outside the family and OH reciprocated)

My daughter and I had an exchange of toiletries...we both love sanctuary products,so there was loads floating around. There was other stuff I liked, including some drawing pens...and tiny notebooks to doodle in.
