I rarely get headaches these days, but for some unknown reason I have had one each of the last 5 days.

It moves from piercing over my left eye, to making my face ache. Every now and then it feels like someone punched me in the nose.

No idea why....and tips how to get rid as painkillers are't taking it right away.

Could be neuralgia or sinus trouble. Don't suffer, go to your GP.
Have you got any cold symptoms? If so, it sounds like a sinus headache to me:

Not enough information, but unlikely to be due to sinusitis.

My opinion...migrainous neuralgia (AKA cluster headaches or type of migraine)

Ibuprofen 400mgms 4 hourly if necessary.

If no better over the next 2 days see your GP for a more specific history evaluation.

No big deal.

Thanks for the advice Squad, Patsy33 and Buenchico. I had a cold a couple of weeks back and do have some catarrh still.

Hadn't thought of taking Ibobrufen. I'll try that right now.

Many thanks x
