Are you as furious as these Daily Express readers at M&S' decision to stock bathing apparel for Muslim women?

Would it affect your decision as to whether or not to shop there?

///Would it affect your decision as to whether or not to shop there?///

No, I'll still shop there for my Speedos.
It would not impact on my decision to shop there or indeed anywhere that would stock them , goodness some get a bit worked up over nothing don't they.
Only if their not Per Una.
Can't afford to shop at M&S anyway.
If there is a market, they should sell it.
If Daily Express readers don't want to wear a Burkini, there is nothing obliging them to.
If there is a glut of fat Burkiniettes at the public swimming pool., they can always afford to join a private club.
Furious? I'll say! I am frothing sat the mouth so much that, were I stood next to the swimming pool in question, cover up clothing would not be required ...
While we are talking about Muslims and hiding themselves: A couple of days ago I spotted a woman (I assume it was a woman) head to toe in black. No eyes even visible. There was the black veil and it had no slit in front. Presumable she could see through it because she was walking along pavement. black gloves. First time I ever saw someone with not even an inch of anything except black material - no eyes or skin.... As to your question sp it would not affect my decision to shop at M&S. What other people buy is of no interest to me.

Ate you sure you were not lusting over a bin bag?
I could add something about where I was which made me know that this was was definitely a person, but I would not dare.

Thinking about this - I can't think of any UK based company that I would boycott. The only companies that I would've boycotted don't have branches..although one (Walmart) owns Asda, but to be honest, I've not seen an Asda store in years.
I don't know why we are messing about with trifling things like this ...the sooner we get back to no votes for women the better.
Quite right Talbot!
No. But disappointed that the country is returning to outmoded Victorian type values. We're going backwards.
No, we are not, OG. We are fortunate to be able to sunbathe nude at public nudist beaches or private clubs, or show as little or as much flesh as we like to swim.
Some public pools have nude swimming sessions.

Choice is progress.
No.

Good, that some muslim women may now have the opportunity to bathe if they so wish.
I know a few women who won't go swimming because they are too self conscious of perceived body flaws. Maybe if they could wear something like this without being judged they would.
hc, The women who wear those bathing costumes don't have a choice - and there we are helping backward thinking along. So much for choice is progress.
naomi, I know a lot of Muslim women and some CHOOSE to cover up.
