Has anybody read the news about the terrible cat attacks in Cinderford? Apparently it's been going on for about a month. Cats have been found in local housing estates with limbs missing, shot and worse. Police are appealing for people to come forward with information. They believe after speaking with locals, it's teenagers doing it to be initiated into gangs. Very upsetting for the cat owners. What on earth is the matter with these teenagers today? So upsetting.

No but there is a nutter going around killing cats in Croydon as well. They think it might be someone who travels around with their work because the area where it is happening is widening. There was one not that far from here and the local animal welfare charity had a hard job getting the police to take it seriously.
Cats seem to be the target of a lot of sickos lately, you often hear of them being poisoned too. Absolutely horrid. Heartbreaking if it happens to your own pet.

They're inhuman, sick baszards. At least the police in Cinderford are taking it seriously. There's a reward of £500 so far.The local vet said he has collected DNA from under the poor cats' claws and fur and gave it to police to be tested to find perpetrator.
GOOD, let's hope it bears some weight Patsy ..
As much as I don't like cats, I find this barbaric. Let's hope they are caught soon.
The sub-humans were poisoning cats with antifreeze in Sheffield last year.
There's no word to describe what they are or what they are doing, sick is not the one I would use though. barbaric gurriers
Words fail me when I read stories like this. I hope they catch the sick ***. I would like to repeat those things on them.
*** = bar stewards
There must be local intelligence on this gang in Cinderford let's hope they catch them and others very quickly - sickening.

///He said "one possibility" was the attacks might be an initiation test for a local gang. "Unfortunately there's a lot of gossip about it but we haven't got any real evidence as such yet,"///

Not nice whoever is doing it, let's hope they're caught soon.
I live in Cinderford. The local papers are full of it. Everyone is talking about it. I get visited by four cats that I leave treats out for. I'm always checking they are. All ok.
