OMG .......wonder is acupuncture any good for Alzheimer's....i posted a similar topic yesterday morning .

my memory is really starting to go downhill.

DD I have no view on its use for pain relief...have seen it work and not work about equally. As I posted on your other thread, you really need to address the underlying cause before going the pain relief route.

Heard good results but may i suggest bowen therapy?

I should say i have many colleagues who swear by bowen technique for back pain... There was a time our NHS paid for it for colleages but it became too expensive. Its supposed to work wonders on backs and even as young as colicky babies xx

Oh yes....many years ago now.....back and leg pain....no cause could be found but it got so bad I had to go upstairs on my bum which was okay at home... in a junior school most undignified....☺

The daughter persuaded me to try acupuncture.....bliss....within twenty four hours I was pain free and skipping upstairs...much to the amusement of the pupils.....

I now use only acupuncture for flare ups of hand and shoulder pain....left over from my days as a massage therapist...x

bowen therapy ? i get a thai massage and a thai oil massage usually daily ( 2 different technigues ) but i still get a bad back. all my life i have suffered bad back, ususally lower.
