Evening Folks, I Have Been Having A Pain In My Right Hand For About A Month

And its not getting better is in my knuckle joint pinkie I cant even hold a fist. I aim 48 heathly any help would be good

Have you any tingling or numbness in your hand>
Is there any swelling of the knuckle joint?

Thanks sqad no underlying probs did have surgery for carple tunnel on the hand but that was years ago. No swelling on knuckle joint either. No strength in my grasp. Can hardly hold anything firmly. Am thinking arthritic? But hey am not the doc! Lol

The carpal tunnel surgery may be interesting and i think that your diagnosis of arthritis may be nearer the mark. But hey! what to do?
If it were me, I would take 600mgms to ease the pain, once if it worked or 600mgs three times a day if it didn't and i would stick with that decision for a month. If no improvement after that time, I would see my GP.

Thanks again sqad. I can't take ibuprofen anymore as the last time I took it it upset my stomach for days. So will try something else. What would a doc prescribe if it was arthritis? Just feel it's a minor aliment compared to some. But a pain in the .... but thanking you for your very valuable input .regards ali
