I recently asked a question for people to give advice on helping me sleep at night, ive now realised i didnt go into much depth, my fiance works perm nights and i have a 15 month old baby who sleeps in my room sometimes in my bed, because i get scared at night, it's not just scared of intruders its scared of the dead and ghosts, if any one has any ideas how i can be at peace during the night and let my baby into his nursery, i would be most happy,

But as davidicus said if you are really working yourself up over this you should speak to your doctor and get things sorted. I do sympathise with you, i always feel more comfortable and relaxed when my 2 year old gets into my bed than when shes in her own room! But its not the way to go really for their sake, I hope you manage to get it sorted, good luck x
Why dont you put a tv in your bedroom, or a radio next to your bed, put it on quietly it will be company for you. It sounds like your mind is to active. Perhaps you may also try some meditation to ease your mind, there are plenty of books out there for that. If your really stressed out, thats when your mind plays tricks on you. Good luck x
You could... put good, heavy locks on the wondows and doors or get a security alarm fitted to make you less worried about the possibility of burglars. You could get a dog, that might reassure you some in the night, but you probably have enough on your plate with a baby.
The ghosts - You can't really prevent but you just have to remember that they can't hurt you. If there are ghosts in your place, the chances are that they are relatives who have passed - people who love you! If you do see any just ignore them and they go away - really.
You could leave a night light on or a TV, play some calming music or even a relaxation tape while you're in bed. It's always good to have a little background noise from the TV or something when you're by yourself/ with baby, so you're not listening to every creak and pop of floor boards and things.
Some aromatherapy oils or candles might help relax you. (candles - not recommended if you're going to fall asleep really) Try something like lavender oil on your pillow this is really good for assisting sleep.
Don't drink caffeine before bed try something like camomile tea or you can buy specially blended teas to assist sleep and relaxation from the supermarket.
