Hi Margo, i am well thanks, going for a scan for my kidneys in may, i usually get these every 4 months but this one was overlooked, how are you doing?

I hope that all goes well with that Billy. Went for 6 month check-up on Friday and after waiting nearly 3 hours finally got to see consultant. I've been having some trouble with wound site which is still very tender and impeding movement. He gave me a cortisone injection which has helped a lot. So hopefully all systems go from now on. How about your OH?

That is not so good, cortisone injections are very painful, i had a few in my bad hip a while ago, i can't have any more, OH is back to full time work, still walking with a limp, it could take about a year to settle down, she does pilates, so that helps.

I know the feeling Billy, the limp is hard to get rid of, you get so used to limping when you're in pain! The end result will be worth it though xx
