The very outer area of my eyelid (where the top meets the bottom) is very red and sore
Two weeks ago it was both sides and I used cortisone cream very very sparingly
The left one is ok now but the right one went a little gungy however it seemed to be getting better
Today it seems quite sore and red again
Any idea what it is and what causes it and Should I restart the tiny amounts of cream again

TIA

book in at doctors,to get it checked out, cant be too careful with eyes only have one pair
Ah! is it swollen? It is likely to be what is known as a Hordeolum ( infection in a gland)
No big deal. You can put a little hydrocortisone cream on as a temporary measure, but tomorrow "pop" into the chemist for chloromycetin eye ointment and use that for a couple of days and assess the result.

No it's not swollen
It's kind of on the fold
