Do you have to take a pregnancy test on the first day of your missed period or can you do one at anytime?

You can take it anytime, I might be wrong but I don't think the over the counter ones always work if you're really recently pregnant - like days rather than weeks.

EB is right cos if you're only days pregnant the hormone won't be strong enough in your urine to give a positive result.  But while you might get a false negative, you'll almost never get a false positive.  I was a week late with my period when I did mine.

My friend is doing one tonight, she is normally 'on' for about 5/6 days. This time she was only 'on' for 2 days and it was 4 days late. Recently she is very tired all the time and is always going to the toilet!!
