Had very expensive front teeth implants done about two/three years ago.
Am in Spain at the moment and both front teeth just fell out!!!!
Managed to push them back in, and have emailed the dentist to ask where we go from here.
But am not due back in the UK till Thursday. Any thoughts?
I am terrified to eat anything. Am existing on yoghurt.
Would using the false teeth 'glue' work??

Oh my goodness. You poor thing. Maybe an emergency hospital ? Ambulatorio ? Where are you ?
Actually I have just googled in Spanish and I see you have to visit a dentist, it is not considered and A&E emergency. Maybe your travel insurance covers it. ? Anyway, dentists are brilliant in Spain and much cheaper than the UK. Go to a Spanish one though , not an ex-pat one just cos they speak English better !
Or go into a pharmacy. When I was holiday I went to one for advice and they arranged the appointment for me and gave me directions.
wow - did the whole screws come out or did the crowns just come away from the screws?

Eat with your back teeth in the meantime, no need to go down the baby food route.
Several websites (including our own NHS one) state that most public hospitals in Spain have a dentist available for emergency treatments. Worth a try, perhaps?

Apologies for not getting back sooner.
Saw an excellent Spanish dentist yesterday and he 'gently' tried to pull them out again. After a few attempts he stopped and said that they were fairly well attached and that I would probably be okay until I go back to the UK tomorrow. He didn't charge me anything.
Interestingly, he said to avoid soft food like sandwich bread (which I don't eat anyway) as it forms a 'mould' round the teeth, and when you try to remove up it, you push the teeth off too. I had been eating fish and some got stuck on my teeth. I was trying to discreetly remove it with my napkin when I suddenly found my teeth in my hand. Horrible feeling.
Also, I thought that having gone through the long and painful process of getting implants, that would be me for life. Anyway.
Have been in touch with my dentist at home arranging an appointment.
Many thanks to all for your advice and sympathy.
I read that and thought that you had a case of silicon breast implants falling out - which would be novel....lol
DTC I just nearly spat my tea out when I read your answer!
Jenny that really must have been a shock - did the dentist give any explanation as to why they fell out??
Question Author
Smowball: Not the Spanish dentist, but hoping to see my own dentist in the next few days.
DCT - the words 'front teeth' would surely have been a clue.
It didn't say teeth in your heading Jenny and I thought the same as DTC !
phew... good luck!
Oh good. You sound ok. I was wondering how you were.
Question Author
Still working on getting an appointment here in the UK.
My fear of dentists is such that I tend to think, well maybe I'll die, and the I don't have to deal with it.
Sorry to those I took to task on the 'implants'. You were quite correct that I was not clear in my heading.
Think of it this way, Jenny...would you rather go to the dentist and get them fixed, or be missing two front teeth? You managed to get the implants done, so pick the phone up :o)
Question Author
Yeah, Scorpio, absolutely correct.
There is a town near me where most of the locals are missing one or two front teeth. Really sad, and looks awful.
Can you go back to the same dentist, Jenny?
If I had some expensive work two to three years ago I would have contacted whoever did it as soon as I landed back in UK if not sooner!
