Teenage Eating Problems

Can anyone direct me to some reputable websites for sound advice for teenage eating guidance?

Teenager in question is getting close to becoming anorexic due to peer pressure and needs to be guided and have their diet readjusted.

Teenager in question needs to be taken to see her GP asap. Self-Starvation is a symptom of Anorexia not a cause.

I think it's best to go to her GP for help. (I'm assuming we're talking about a girl, here.)

EC - from very personal experience, I agree with cowgal, the eating disorder is usually brought about by other factors. I also recommend that the teenager sees their GP and if necessary gets a referral to the local Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS) for further help.
They helped us immensely.

Eccles - when I had issues with my son a phone call to the GP was enough. He arranged counselling with a specialist teenage group. They deal with all sorts of issues like eating disorders, self harm etc...

He didn't have to see the GP in person. He had 4 sessions and it turned his life around.

The doctors were brilliant. I explained the situation to the receptionist and within 1/2 hour the doctor was on the phone to me after contacting the counselling group with an appointment for the next weekend.

The first session was a family session where they explained everything to us which was basically, what he says in his sessions are 100% private.
