In a bid to help my severe IBS I've been advised to cut out gluten and la those to see if it helps. The lactose hasn't been too difficult but glutens in everything! Anybody got any good tried and tested recipes for meals please?

Not sure if its on iplayer, but there was an “Eat well for less” episode where the husband had coeliac disease and was at risk of being very seriously ill if he ate gluten. He and his wife panicked and can’t have had great advice from the hospital because he was living on tuna salad and raw onions! There was a lot if useful info in the show. the bloke who presents the program who isn’t Greg Wallace, is married to a lady who has coeliac disease so he is well clued up.
Its not available for download but here are three of the recipes

My daughter is gluten, wheat and dairy free and has been so for about 10 years. Stock cubes may be worth a try as you can actualy create some taste using one. I make lots of various soups for her but I am afraid they are all vegetable heavy. I do use Knor stock pots and she seems to cope with these. Sure you are aware that the FreeFrom foods are fairky tasteless. Having an allotment means we have no end of veg with a known source.
Folk with coeliac disease need to avoid gluten so this site should be helpful, https:/ /www.co eliac.o rg.uk/g luten-f ree-die t-and-l ifestyl e/
Ahh I didn't know that about Knorr - that's great! On holiday was a Big of a nightmare as tbh I'd buried my head in the dark about how best to try and sort it. It was only when I got home last Monday that I said to hubby ok this has taken over my life now - I really need to find my triggers if I possibly can
For quick breakfast try these. I have just discovered them and they are great with warm milk and berries, or a chopped banana. Go mine in Morrisons, but Asda do them and maybe Tesco?
