I know this sounds disgusting but I have really bad acne all over my back and front and wondered if anyone knew of any treatments to clear it up? I've tried all the antiboitics but nothing works. Are there any treatments you can have done at clinics or anything? Please help!

How awful for you, I've heard that the contraceptive pill Dianette is supposed to help, but if your gp is not helping much, it may be worth changing doctors or even considering alternative therapy remedies. Your local health food shop should be able to recommend someone.
I know how difficult this problem must be for you as I suffered with the same issue in my teenage years and early twenties. I tried every pharmaceutical drug and alternative remedy going, none worked. What lead to my acne clearing up completely was a total change in diet (I took out all meats, dairy products, dried food, alcohol, oil and replaced it with more fruit, veges and fibre). I also took up meditation to reduce my stress levels, the acne on my back and shoulders cleared up completely after approx 6 months and has never returned. As well as clearing up the acne, my general health improved immensely. This may sound like a big change - but it was definitely worth it.
I can sympathise with your condition as I have suffered terribly with the demon acne. For years I was on oxytetracyline(antibiotic) which kept a few spots at bay but after a while stopped working. I then tried minocin(another antibiotic)which was brilliant but 4 some reason my GP stopped it. I was completely stressed out about my skin and my self esteem and confidence plunged along with that my anxiety level increased which in turn didn't help the situation. Out of sheer desperation I asked my GP 4 Roaccutane- (a strong vitamin a drug which drys up the pores)fortunately my GP is a dermatologist so he could prescribe it- usually u have to be referred. -Roaccutane was brilliant!!!! 3wks ago I did have a flare up and my GP prescribed Dianette - which is licensed as a acne drug as well as a contraceptive- it was awful - my skin got worse so I came off it. I have heard some good reports about it so it may work for u. In the meantime u could use a topical solution such as Quinoderm, but in my experience Roaccutane is worth it- and even if u do have to wait 4 an appointment I'm sure u will be glad when u see the final result!! hope everything works out 4 u.
What Heardy said about Roaccutane is correct it is very affective although the drying out of the pours can be quite bad as you lips can crack etc, I had to keep applying Pertrolium jelly to help prevent this. I went on a six month course and was not allloud to drink alcohol etc but it did clear my skin up very well. For about 6 months it was ok but then they did come back a bit but this i put down to shaving (they were never as bad as they were before) I am now 24 a spot free. If you ask for this treatment i would talk it throug seriousley with your GP as there are side effects. I expirienced mood swings and i believe there have been some bad cases in the US regarding the drug.

Thanks for all your help. Unfortuantley everything you have suggested, I've tried. Roaccutane is definatly good, it cleared me up completely, but once I stopped taking them, they all came back, and you ca't take them forever. At the moment I'm trying Dianette again, so I'll just have to see how it goes. Thanks again.
I dunno if you have already tried this or been advised this but Tea Tree Oil is very affective, I have had very bad acne so I know how you feel and I had tried everything under the sund but nowt would work, but Tea Tree Oil is fab, it worked for me! Good Luck :)
