America is a funny country, in many ways. I can't see anyone in Britain even contemplating posting such a nasty thing thing such as this. Was she so stupid that she thought that she could get away with it ?

And yet, Ms Taylor said that she acknowledged her Facebook post could be "interpreted as racist, but in no way was intended to be", and that she was expressing a personal opinion on attractiveness, not the colour of a person's skin.

Unbelievable....she has been sacked, not surprisingly.

It's the price we pay for social media, where intelligence and the ability to think before communicating are not prerequisites to having an instantaneous worldwide platform on which to prove how breathtakingly stupid, ignorant, and unpleasant you are.

LOl, her name is "Beverly Whaling"

Well this information explains everything though I'd guess that not everyone in that town holds the same view as Pamela and Beverly, hopefully they're just a small ignorant racist minority.

I certainly wouldn't refer to Mrs Trump as classy and dignified, but I suppose that is only subjective.

Both of these stupid women are noted residents in Clay County, so their comments are even more unforgivable.

There is a delicious irony here - this woman is appalled to think that anyone would think that she is racist, when she merely meant to be stratospherically rude about someone she doesn't know, based on her perception of the lady's appearance - but not to infer that her insufferable ugliness is anything to do with the colour of her skin!

It is interesting how social media works - attack a famous person, and endure the cyber fires of Hell raining down on you - attack the attacker with parallel or even worse vitriol, and people either ignore the irony, or simply join in.
