The Outside Clinic, Optician Service...
11 Answers
Has anybody used these people, who are Providing NHS funded and Private Service?
They say you have to be on Pension Credit, and visit people who are unable to get to an optician, do all the eye test, and you choose your frames etc?

Thanks Danny,
I thought they were expensive, as I had an eye test at home yesterday with them, and its going to cost me £180.00, with a £40.00 discount because I am on Pension credit.
When they first contacted me by phone, they gave the impression they were funded by something to do with the NHS, but they are a private company, and the opticians that test you are on commission.
