I set recorder for Corrie and various other programmes as we were going out with friends for dinner, when we came home found nothing recorded after 6.00 pm. I don't understand as we didn't leave the house until 6.30. We didn't have tv on at all. When I looked at recorded programmes guide there was a strange squarish coloured thing against the Chase and pointless. This is on a humax box. Nothing was recorded after this. Anyone any ideas what could have happened?

My box used to do that. After about a week or so it would suddenly go into freeze mode and refuse to record. Solution was to power down and then restart. Frustrating, though.

Yes we found too the remote wasn't working so switched box and tv off at the plug for five seconds. Then it came back on. Most frustrating.
