Yep ....said the same yesterday......actually have noticed a huge number of chaps wearing hats indoors in loads of places.... I do want to have a word but rein in my impulse as I do when I want to pull up the trousers of young men who seem to think that buttocks encased in grubby undrpants are alluring..... sigh .... am now old!!
Depends where they're wearing the hat. Hanging a Trilby on your old fella so it dangles in a provocative manner in the vicinity of your fellow diner's food could be seen as rude and disrespectful I guess...
Yes I think it's rude. My grandad always wore a flat cap but as soon as he sat at the table my gradma would whip it off saying 'there's no tea served until that comes off'.
I hate it. Not only that, but those who roll sleeves up (if you want short sleeves, wear a short sleeved shirt), tie on, but top button undone, elbows on table when eating, inability to use a knife and fork correctly, men not knowing how to button a suit correctly, speaking with food in mouth. The list goes on.
