Well after going to 5 different dentists and paying for consultations and getting flexible partials - I ended up going to original who made the metal ones and she blunted the clasp etc. I have been wearing them for two weeks now but I did want to give my flexible ones a go.

Tried them out about an hour ago but no way hosay I couldn't get them in and started to gag.

Remembered dentist saying these ones need to be in hot water (I'm never out of it) and so I did there now and I got them in.

I would like to get used to these as opposed to the metal ones. Sorry just on to have a "rant".

I've got a partial denture as well - 2 upper front teeth.
Sometimes it seems to fit okay and other days, it seems to not quite seat properly and catches on my lower teeth.
Anyway, I've took the plunge - having implants fitted on Feb 23rd ..... dreading it lol :(

good for you Giz - I know my own gums and whilst dentist has offered me to the tune of £6,000 2 implants with 4 teeth on them I know rightly my gums are not in a good state.
