I love tattoos, mostly, depending what they are. Mine aren't that obvious, but I can't imagine i'll care more when i'm 70 about what other people might think.
I went to school with a girl who ended up with almost her entire body tattooed, she was in the national papers at one time. As we are now in our late 60's I will leave it to you to imagine how she looks now.
I speak to a lot of musicians - who tend to have tattoos - and one feature that emerges is that it can be addictive, you get one, you want more, so that is why people have quite a few it seems.
When I was a teenager, the only people who had tattoos were people in the forces, who usually had them done abroad when drunk, and prisoners.
But trends change, and as advised, I don't think anyone who has a tattoo thinks about how it will look in twenty years time.
Yes, you're right. In fact they look horrible on the young as well as the old. They look especially horrible and masculine on girls. My daughter was going to get one, but thankfully, she changed their mind

I am a great believer in personal freedom which means that everyone can have an opinion on how other people choose to decorate their bodies, and to express it on a forum like this - but it is not appropriate to voice such an opinion to a compete stranger because it is their business, and theirs alone.
"Of easy access, physically filthy, uneducated, low social morals, drug takers, inferior sect of society, unruly, probably with a prison sentence......."
there you go that is my assessment of a tattooed person ....and that is just the men, do you want me to define my opinion of the tattooed woman?
