Hi Sqad.

I had positive pregnancy test Monday just gone - much surprise as we weren't even trying. Today I had a tiny PV bleed after experiencing uncomfortable twinges in various places. Pregnancy test done by 12 year old nurse - negative. Informed by 13 year old Doctor that my original positive test was a false alarm.

I've just come home and done another digital test - "Pregnant 1-2"

So... 2 positives tests 4/5 days apart. No sign of period. PV bleed miniscule and now stopped.

Your thoughts?

I can't remember. I know it happened in pregnancy as I remember the first time it happened. I can't remember if it ever happened outside pregnancy though.

None of my pregnancies have been plain sailing so I suffered from various things.

I've got IBS and fibroid too so it's difficult to know what's producing these pains and twinges.

There's still a hint of pink blood on inspection but nothing on my pad.
I've had a few miscarriages and to be honest they've all been different. I've also had pink discharge and severe bleeding with healthy babies at the end.

The last miscarriage the discharge was brown.
As links state, perfectly normal to experience in early, middle and later stage pregnancy, NoM....... I'm pretty sure my wife had some pain in some, if not all, her pregnancies with our children.

I know it's hard, but please try not to worry, my lovely......and I wish you all the best wishes I can muster :-) x

Thanks Yogi. I had an ectopic last year with a significant internal bleed, so I'm understandably anxious. However when I had a PV bleed with the ectopic, the blood was very dark - almost black - so I don't think this is another ectopic.

It could be the placenta implanting?
Implantation bleeding is common.

So I understand but it's hard to remain positive in light of my recent history. :(

I've been lying flat since midday.
Your fears and concerns are genuine and totally understandable, all the things you've described could also be perfectly normal.

Always someone here.x
I can imagine :-(
Hi again NoM

Could be the placenta.....
I think it mentions that it could be the uterus expanding and is extremely common in pregnancy.

I would test again early next week, plenty of rest and no stress in between, with loads of pampering from your partner, and always think positive, sweetheart. :-) x
