I know it sound absurd, but I tried this simple experiment if you don't believe it just perform it, the hearing quality will be not as good as you hear from your own hear. For this experiment you'll need a walk-man head phone (small in size; 1 or .5 cm in diameter, exactly fitted inside your nose). I prefer Sony or Philips with sound booster. After placing it inside your nose, slowly increase the volume of your walkman, computer or any device that can play audio with the use of headphone, do you hear it? No!! Eh? Okay now close your both of your ears with finger, see you hear it! Can any one give reason for this? Well I am a computer student. I don't know much of biology. If any doctor or scientist knows the answer plz mail me at . But don't continue with this experiment it might cause breathing problems.
Just to echo EDDIE51''s point - personal e-mails are not allowed - yours will be removed by our wonderful Ed. as soon as she returns refreshed and invigorated from a weekend of having grapes peeled for her by her willing slaves or catching up on the washing and ironing, which ever was more important!
I would have thought that the sound vibrating throughout your face/skull would have been the obvious answer and am slightly (well, more than slightly but I don't want to be too rude) concerned that a student of any age thinks that you can hear through your nose.
The "breathing problems" warning at the end makes me think (hope) it's all a wind up
