After a nice meal dining out, my partner and like to have a coffee.I (F) have a double espresso, and my partner(M) has a Latte.Without fail I get the latte and my partner the espresso. It has got to such stage now that it has become a joke.Does anyone else encounter sexism when dining out.
This is not a serious question, just one for a bit of fun.

I have come across that too, only this time it was a sort of double whammy.I had taken a mixed party of 8 to The Box Tree in Ilkeley. The Head Waiter asked who was the host(me of course) but he took some persuading that it wasn't my (male) partner. However,no menu except mine had prices,I thought this was nice,as it didn't put people off from ordering what they want, because of the price.
