Are There Any Vegetarians/vegans Here
35 Answers
vegetarianism and veganism is something that ive knocked in the past here on AB but ive been doing some intensive research in the past few weeks and am slowly losing my taste for animal products. My only previous experience of vegetarianism was a girlfriend that was in to animal rights in a fanatical sought of way and I loved my beef burger more than her in the end. Beginning to think she was right and I was wrong.
Any experience, stories, views etc.
Thank you.

There is not enough evidence out there for me to subscribe to the theory that cows' milk is bad for you.
"Organic" almond milk with highly toxic carrageenan on the other hand... I think I'll stick with dairy, ta.
Similarly why snub pure butter for some "healthy" spread which is about 1 molecule away from plastic.
As a fine Doctor once said to me..."If it comes off a farm, eat it. If it was made in a factory, don't touch it."

I too agree 100% with NoM. The more processed a food is,the worse it is for us.
I have enough trouble eating more veggies...let alone only veggies. I could never be a vegetarian...it just would not satisfy me.
If you do decide to try it,do a lot of research to make sure you get all the nutrients you need. And try to get that info from an impartial site,as both sides can be zealous and political in their opinions. Also...read the views of those who've been both so you can understand why they may choose one lifestyle over the other.
