Hello all,

Yesterday afternoon I had a funny turn, felt hot all over and dizzy and vomited for 15 minutes, then curled up and went to sleep.
when hubby came home he said I was ice cold despite the fire being on and heating being on, I got up and felt dizzy again and then vomited again.
Today I feel very drained.
I don't see my surgery team till next week - is this something I need to worry about (am 9 weeks post op) or will it wait till I see them next week?
Thank you

If I remember correctly, you suffered a similar episode in Las Vegas last your and that was before your gastric bypass.
Your symptoms are certainly suggestive of "dumping syndrome" following gastric bypass whereby food is "dumped" straight from the stomach into the small bowel ( I think the you had bypass surgery).
The answer to this is dietary, but i am not an expert in this field so if you Googled "dumping syndrome after barometric surgery" you may get good and expert dietary advice.
Wait until next week to see your team.

Sqad - I had the sleeve and dumping is normally less with the sleeve - my initial thought was it was dumping however, I had eaten a yoghurt something I have eaten everyday since the op!
It was due to the dumping the surgeon would not do a bypass! But yes I will speak to them next week, thought I would check just incase I needed to see my GP
