hi, ive been taking this now for one month. has anyone heard of the side effect that it will prevent u absorbing nutrients properly?? if so, what should u do to help this?

Hi rec, I think maybe you spelled that wrong, check the package and post again.  If the spelling is correct then post the full medical name from the package.

i was on it for 7 years and i had no problems what-so-ever with it, i stopped taking it for about a year though and fell pregnant and had a misscarriage. It was after my misscarriage that i started to develop problems. My periods would never come on time and sometimes wouldnt come at all, i would bleed in between peiods and it made me feel like poo, i spent a fortune on pregnancy tests because of the lack of periods. so now ive stopped taking it all together and my body had never been so great

I was on this a year ago but was taken off when i gained a few pounds. I started getting cramps and numbness in my arms and every so often i would get an awful pain in my head as if someone was poking red hot iron through the centre of my head and gripping really tight around the outside! It only lasted a few seconds but was very painful while it lasted! I don't know if this was caused by the microgynon but they took me off to be safe!
