... don't bother, it's useless.

The birding party have used the last of the economy sized tin of Raid that John bought two days ago - there are some recriminations about the amount the girls wasted on attempting to sanitize the gazebo earlier.

Janet has now resorted to spraying the whiny b'stards (the mosquitos, not the male birders) with hairspray - it doesn't appear to kill them, but they are slowed down by the nice quiff it has given them ...

How No?, Wolf......Janet's still trying to train John.....no time for a doggie too....... ;-)
There used to be an Avon bath spray that worked wonders against bugs including mozzies, we used it in India and had no problems, the posher people had Jungle Formula and were bitten badly. I can't recall its name but I think some of the current ones are also useful.
Would that have been Skin so Soft, Zebo?..x

Thank you, Steg......will give that a go too..x
