As has been suggested, at least part of the reason could be that drinking directly from the bottle doesn't allow you to control the dose. Taking too many vitamins/supplements can be just as bad for you (if not more so) than having too few. Taking too much iron can lead to sickness and constipation. Germs?
It contaminates the contents.

But I'm the only one drinking from it.
I wondered if it was because I wasn't drinking the correct amount??
Do you know when you've swigged 10 ml, Jenny?
I suspect a swig is more than 10ml.

Taking too many vitamins/supplements can be just as bad for you (if not more so) than having too few. Taking too much iron can lead to sickness and constipation. (With really high doses it can kill you). Excess Vitamin C can also cause digestive problems. Taking too much Vitamin B6 can lead to nerve damage. (They're all in Floravital).

Doctors generally advise avoiding food supplements if you're eating a healthy diet. The only supplement which they say that everyone in the UK ought to take (particularly in the winter months, but not exclusively so) is Vitamin D, which isn't in Floravital. (One of the symptoms of a lack of Vitamin D is excessive tiredness).

However if your tiredness persists, do see you doctor, as there are a multitude of possible causes (including, for example, the early signs of diabetes).
If you google Floravital Drinking from bottle you can read why you shouldn't.

Thanks Chris. Will work on that. G
Also, your salivary enzymes that are transferred to the contents will start the digestion process, possibly spoiling the vitamins etc that are in the liquid.
On the wrong track there Cloverjo, I'm afraid. None of the enzymes found in human saliva will have any adverse affect on the active ingredients of Floravital. In no sense can saliva spoil the vitamins in the product.

If anything, it's quite the opposite as a protein found in saliva called transcobalamin-1 will actually protect the vitamin B12 in Floravital from the denaturing effect of the hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
Ok, thanks, theprof. I stand corrected.
