I read an article about a woman on a health spa, who thought her eyes were grey when they were actually a very bright blue. Apparently all the toxins in her body had caused her eye colour to be affected. Once she had detoxed, her eye colour improved dramatically. Does anyone know if this is true? & if it is, what causes it, is it purely the toxins in your body?

This is an interesting one. I have dark brown eyes. Between 1993 and 2001 I was taking high doses of the SSRI anti-depressant Faverin. During this time both I and my husband noticed that my eye colour had lightened to a hazel colour. When I stopped taking the antidepressants, my eye colour darkened again. Strange phenomenon, possibly due to toxins produced by the medication
