Is it not as simple as 'the person who lost the most weight', Mally?
Found this Mally........"must not be your first week, must not be on the back of a gain, have to have lost or stayed the same last week, have to stay to class"

Found on here https://www.minimins.com/threads/how-do-you-become-slimmer-of-the-week.171925/

yes Tilly I saw this last week and today ,wouldn't it be fairer If the person who has lost the most in a week get it .the same person got it last week and this week.
I think that they are rewarding a sustained an consistent weight loss. People who fluctuate are not to be encouraged to do so.

I have a relative who actually became slimmer of the year. That was four years ago and she has kept the weight at bay, ever since. It does work.
How long have you been attending, Mally?
Question Author
I just feel sorry for the people who lose a lot in a week and don't get it .well done to your relative xx I got my half stone certificate today xx
7 whole pounds! That's good going, Mally.

When I visit her she always cooks a SW meal. They are really filling and tasty.
Well done mallyh, that is some loss.x
Question Author
I've been twice now ,must admit there are some really nice people there who are losing stones xx
Question Author
thanks Butterbun, loads to go xx
Have you lost 7lb in two weeks, Mally?
My relative still attends every week. As long as she maintains her target weight, she doesn't have to pay any dues.
Question Author
yes Tilly 3.5 a week but there are others losing 5 a week xx
Well done Mally. Have a look at these two books, Family Feasts on a budget and Extra Easy meals in minutes, some really odd recipes in both that all the family can eat. We love the Paprika Pork in the first one, works well with chicken too.
5lb seems a lot in one week.
Its who has lost the most percentage not the most weight
not true islay, it;s the person who has lost the most that week but they must have had a maintain or loss the week before. I guess it's to stop cheating!
Mallyh, first of all, well done on what you have lost, you need to do this as a personal reward to yourself and not get hung up on numbers, on what others are doing, I do understand you can get downhearted looking at others losing more, but their routine is probably in a state now that their metabolism has the weight just 'falling off' them, that happens and to a new member it may seem unfair, 7lb is not to be sniffed at. Keep going, someday - their week will be that they did everything and nothing fell off, personally, I think it's a very unfair way of losing weight,it works for some, not others, just go to the classes, get your stickers or whatever, your weekly meal plan and lose weight for your better health, not for slimmer of the week or anything, it is a goal but in the long term, you want to be healthier and a healthy heart, mind and body is better than any 'slimmer of the week' badge on your fridge or wherever it's designed to be displayed, you're a winner already, good on you ❤
Well said, Ducksie.
