I went to Lloyds pharmacy and asked for buscopan, but they wouldn't sell me any as I haven't got IBS, is this stuff dangerous? recommended by sqad I thought it would be the answer to my bloating problem, I am confused now, I was asked what other meds I am on and the lady said I shouldn't have it without asking my Doctor which means waiting for two weeks to get an appointment, I take clopidogrel, perindopril, simvastatin and lansoprazole, can someone explain this please? as I thought it was something I could buy off the shelf.
Biccyclova....I am so sorry.....it is a drug as aspirin and paracetamol are, there are side effects and possibly , very possibly side drug interactions BUT these are present whether you have IBS or any other condition.
Go to another chemist and tell them that you have IBS....how are they to know?
3 If it was dangerous they wouldn't be selling it over the counter. I have had cause to be grateful for it on more than one occasion. It provides instant relief from painful stomach cramps.
