Keep getting the problem of going to the loo every 5 or 10 minutes, I have had Cystitis a couple of weeks ago  and have had antibiotics, also a week later another bout and was prescribed an antibacterial course, both of these worked but after a few days the problem re-ocurred, only one partner so no problems there, anyone got any suggestions what it could be.

Highly energetic bdroom antics could be the cause of it.

It could be hormonal or it could be an infection that your partner has they they are unaware of.

I would recommend you both going for a check up to eliminate any nasties.

Hope it goes away soon!

Try drinking Cranberry Juice or you can get Cranberry tablets. It works for me.
You are obviously getting reinfected. I suggest you avoid sex and see if it clears up on it's own. It could be that you infecting each other repeatedly.
cranberry tabs are excellent!  Works for me too i take them all the time and I haven't had cystitis or a kidney infection for about 2 years.  i used to have a kidney or UT infection about every 2-3 months...SOme people are just susceptible.  Mine was hormonal.
avoid sex and caffeine and drink cranberry juice and it should clear up

You could simply be getting reinfected or you could have an underlying cause for the problem.  I'd strongly recommend a further check by your GP as a start point.

If it's just simple cystitis, drink cranberry juice, increase your water intake, make sure you have a pee after sex, and consider using a natural plain yoghurt to stabilise your bacterial balance down there!

a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a large glass of water should help. neutralises acid and burning sensation
