Well I had my official weigh in today and I am now 10 stone gone in 6 months!
So very happy, it has made a huge difference to my life and relationships. Funny though how some people don't want me to lose weight!
Well here's to the next stone off!

The milestone is 2 years and after that time, "bad habits" may return....however Islay has a strong personality and for her the prognosis is good.....in my opinion.

I don't want to hijack your thread Islay (well done btw!) I've lost 4 stones in just over 2 years but it's down to illness not dieting. It's not the way I would have wanted to lose it but I'll take it anyway! I find that some people don't like it when you lose weight as well. I think i's mostly down to jealousy though!
I've lost quite a lot of weight recently by simply 'portion sizing' and I imagine that is more-or-less equivalent to Islay's method. I went for a pub meal with OH on Monday and ate about a third of it. It is very slow, but eventually your stomach does shrink and you feel full very quickly. It is very slow, but safe - I can eat what I want, so I can cope with it. I mean it when I say very slow, but it works for me. A cheaper option for people. :)
