I found this article when looking for something else. This couple want a personal assistant for them and their dog. They have listed their requirements and the expected wage. The wage does not seem enough to me

we can but hope Tilly
Thank you for taking time to be interviewed Mr Smith. Although you ticked the innumerable requirements for the position I'm afraid we cannot offer you the position because Rover didn't like the look of you.

I wonder if anyone has applied?
Phew! they nearly had me there - sometimes a criminal record has it's uses.
Can you imagine what it would be like working for those people? Hell on earth, I would think.
I saw adverts like this all the time I was in Miami. Apparently these dog positions come up quite regularly and pay good money.
And it was always in the richer area of Miami like Fisher Island where the rich hang out!!!
Don't think I'm crazy enough to take it..
$15-$30...is that good money, Sharon?
Rats, if only I had a passport...

If I was looking for someone for a post like that their trustworthiness, understanding, patience and attitude towards my cats would be the most important thing. After that you have to have some flexibility.

I think that the couple have given the situation too much thought - is there anyone on the planet who would be suitable for this job?
Me! However I wouldn't get out of bed for less than £100 per hour. :-)

I haven't worked since I was 40 (2003) and the thought of having to get up at the same time every day and having a routine doesn't bear thinking about. I like the concept of making up the rules as I go along. ☺
Tilly, yes!! I am just sorry I don't like dogs. $30 is about £22.
I suppose there's board and lodgings too?
Question Author

When you consider that you have to be available 24/7 it doesn't seem like a lot of money. I think that a 40 hour week was mentioned.

Is that a breed of dog, 10C?
