When I get up in the morning I have to blow my nose at least 8 times in the first hour, every day..
It's just a cloudy gunge and it makes no difference if the bedroom window was open or closed through the night Where does it all come from?
Sorry to you guys who happen to be eating.

Allergy? Nasal polyps? Room damp/mould? Sinus problems? Are you a smoker?

Ectoplasm?
How long has this been going on for?
Is the snot ever coloured?
What is you occupation?
Is you nose blocked....one side, both sides or neither?
snags ^^ has given us a starter.
Oh! where does it come from? It comes from glands in the lining of the nose and sinuses.....mucous glands.
Does it happen all year round?
When I initially read this, I read it as, "moaning snot".

As you've probably guessed, I had to read it again lol :P

Lots of dairy or an intolerence to it can cause excessive mucous.
Sounds like a condition called vasomotor rhinitis, may be caused by many factors, but the commonest cause...is....unknown.
The glands that i spoke about in my initial post can produce at times half a litre of the stuff.....500mls.
I used to have the same problem, didn't know why, then I bought an anti allergy pillow and I'm fine now. It's worth a try. Do you also get a runny nose when out walking?
