Just did a huge update, and lost it !
Briefly now, cos fed up of typing....
Carers in twice daily, hospital mattress in on our bed.
He is very weak, and transferring chair to bed etc is a bit fraught, He can no long use the monkey bar to life himself either.
Going for respite Monday (3 days) so I can get carpet out of bedroom, and vinyl laid, and take delivery of the rest of the hospital bed, and a small single for me.
It upset me a bit when I had to start feeding him, but needs must and all that.
Thanks for asking, sorry to go on a bit.

During a recent spell i hospital they discovered he has cancer in both lungs, chest cavity, behind the trachea, and in some of his bones.
He has come home to be where he is the most accustomed to, and is comfortable for the time being.
Brought him home with the promise of help, which didn't materialise for another 4 weeks, just started trickling in now.
Islay they delivered a hoist thingy and sling, but I have to wait to use it as it's a 2 person job they say, and me being one of them, I have to be shown how to use it by Occ Health. (Monday week)
Think that's it, thanks for all good wishes, and yes, I will be indulging myself a bit whilst he in in respite :)
