Yes, last week.
My son has a flu one tomorrow, as he has asthma.

Mrs B and I are in for ours @ 11:30 tomorrow.

Anyone ever had a reaction to them, we never have?
Had the pneumonia one twice - does that mean I'm protected from double pneumonia?

But not yet, I've to go in 2 weeks, I could have had it yesterday but they read my notes from out of hours and said no :(
Question Author
I haven't had the pneumonia one before. Never had a bad reaction to the flu jab.
Had my flu jab yesterday, pneumonia one some years ago. I've only ever had a sore arm that I can remember.
I didn't have one last year and not having one this year. My husband is as he has mild heart problems.
Question Author
Is the pneumonia one, annual, or does it last for a lifetime?
Flu jab last week, completely painless and no reaction.
Question Author
Why are you not having the jab, Patsy?
I wanted to get in early with mine after hearing about Australia having a really bad flu season and that we tend to get similar to them (or something like that, I'm not very sciency!).
Pneumonia is a one off, that's what I was told. I had to have it with being on immune system suppressing medication.
Tilly, I believe it's a once and your done job. They made a b**b hence why I've had mine twice.
Question Author
Thanks for that, Queenie and Eve.
The only time I had one I have never had such a bad dose of flu, since then, without the jab, I've rarely had more than a mild cough and cold.
Hi, Tilly.....I have never had a flu jab despite it being suggested when MrG had no immune system....and I don't know why.....just a feeling I shouldn't.....x
Couple of years ago had flu injection but still got flu. They seem to keep getting it wrong re strain of virus. Didn't have it last year and I was fine. Call me sceptical but I've never really trusted it.
Question Author
My dad died of aspiration pneumonia. I don't suppose there's a vaccine against that though.
I am quite happy to have both. If I get another strain of 'flu, then that's just hard luck.
good heavens, is it that time of year again? Flu jab marks the start of winter for me. I've not heard of pneumonia jabs before. I did have pneumonia a few years back and it wasn't very nice, but that's the only occasion in my 127 years..
We had our flu jabs two weeks ago, no ill effects.
