Iphone Apps

I use my iPhone 6 every day for searching out corrects spellings, anagrams, etc.

One app i use is very useful but it has this really irritating background noise and music.

I can, of course, turn the sound off or down, but then I forget to turn it up again, and subsequently miss calls !

Is there any way in which I can turn the sound off, and then it automatically comes on again after a set period ?

Check the app settings to see if it has a volume control

It would also come in handy when I am attending Meetings, as I frequently forget to turn the sound up again.

It doesn't really matter Syc....it would come in handy more for the reasons given above, than any particular app.

I can't be the only one who switches the phone to silent, and then forgets to switch it back !

Islay...yes I did...thanks. But perhaps I should have led with the Meetings dilemma instead.
